There are some days when the traditional toast + jam just doesn’t cut it for me. Today was one of those days! Citrus is in season right now so we might as well come up with some creative ways to enjoy it!
This is less of a recipe and more an idea, but I hope you try it nonetheless.
What will you need?
2 pieces of bread
6 oz blackberry yogurt
1 navel orange, sliced into round
2 tbsp blackberry jam or preserves
1 tbsp butter
1 New York Times (optional)
How do you make it?
Toast and butter your bread. You should toast your bread pretty crispy so that it can hold the weight of the other toppings! Add the yogurt, preserves and then the orange slices.
Enjoy while fantasizing through the Travel section of the New York Times.
